Blast Cleaning
Tees Valley Coatings boasts one of the most modern Blast Cleaning facilities in the North of England. The fully enclosed Blast bay includes a fully Recyclable collection system which runs on four conveyors located in the floor. This maintains a constant feed of abrasives, which, combined with a powerful compressed air supply and a large dust recovery unit, ensures that every job has a 1st class finish!
Since the start of the company in 2007 Tees Valley Coatings, having seen a surge in demand from the Oil and Gas sectors, has grown in size resulting in a further three more facilities being built. One of these includes a fully automatic wheelabrator machine and paintline with infra-red drying, while the other two blast bays are both purpose built and fully enclosed, both being fitted with both extraction and heating with the larger bay having two overhead cranes with an overall lifting capacity of 20 tonnes.
Paint Work
Our original paint oven has a capacity of 35m x 6m x 6m. This spraybake oven is amongst the largest available in the North of England and can be compartmentalised to allow two smaller, possibly different, jobs to be handled simulatenously, thus reducing downtime and increasing throughput.
Since our expansion we have a further two more paint cells which are fully equipped with both heating and extraction, with all equipment meeting current Health and Safety and Enviromental legislation.
The smaller paint cell is 26m x 7m x 5.6m and is serviced by an adjoining blast unit of a similar size.
The larger is blast and paint cell is 38m x 20m x 7m.
We use only the best quality coatings available so that we can ensure the best possible finish.
Coatings
We offer a range of coatings from powder to thermal spray coatings and can undertake any major sub-contract work inluding : Marine, Fire Protection, Industrial, Nuclear, Highways, Sub-sea, Rail and Offshore.
Refurbishment
We offer a range of services for general refurbishment or specialist refurbishment, including marine steelwork and sub-sea components.
Cleaning
Tees Valley Coatings has one of the best facilities in the north of England being able to cope with the largest of vehicles ensuring your vehicle is clean before work is carried out.
Our cleaning services include a floodlit wash area and double deck steam bay with pit. We use only biodegradable detergents
Workshop
Our workshops include fully equipped refurbishment bays with overhead crane facilities and we can undertake any repair or refurbishment work.
